A reading room is a space where the spiritual and physical worlds intersect. Its layout, furniture, and lighting are all thoughtfully designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas. Drawing from a shared cultural heritage and addressing the functional needs of the space, Weng Xinyu of YUUE Design Studio has created a table lamp for Common Imprint, crafted to enhance the reading experience.
In this mini presentation, Weng shares the inspiration behind his lamp design, his use of 3D printing technology for rapid prototyping, and, finally, some creative and unexpected ways to use the product.
