Memobloc for Module+ Exhibition

YUUE reimagines the most common building material – brick. With Memobloc, YUUE proposes a future building material capable of storing history and memories of time while transforming cities and landscapes.

The shape of Memobloc is inspired by the Berlin pavement tiles that designer Weng Xinyu steps on every day when he goes to work. Its wavy shape allows the bricks to fit into each other like a puzzle, forming flexible and creative combinations.

A once-common everyday object is placed in the Memobloc during the printing process. It is permanently sealed inside. The use of transparent and environmentally friendly material PETG makes the hidden object vague and attractive.

Exhibition Module+ is curated by Zhu Hui and Li Jixuan, during Design Spring in March 2023 in Guangzhou, China.
